• Optional Procedure (OP)
Johnson & Quin is a licensed OP Mailing System provider which means you get the benefits of a shortened delivery time and potential savings in postage and transportation costs. Providing a more qualified level of sorting, OP makes it possible to verify and accept First-Class Mail, Standard Mail, and Package Services paid by permit imprint. The OP Mailing System reviews a mailer’s financial, production, and other business records in lieu of standard weight verification procedures. With this process, not only can non-identical weight and size letters from multiple clients be included in the same mailing, but also various postage payment methods can be executed as well.

• Full-service Intelligent Mail® Barcode (IMB)
Johnson & Quin is part of a select group of companies approved by the USPS for full-service IMB. The Intelligent Mail barcode (IMB) is a sophisticated, 65-digit code that enables distinctive identification for every mail piece, giving each mail piece a unique identity. The Intelligent Mail barcode offers far superior data capacity, combining a variety of information—presort makeup; class of mail; special services; mail owner and preparer identification; individual mail piece identification; and destination—into a single code that supports multiple special services. In addition to electronic presentation and documentation, users receive an additional postage discount of $1 per thousand standard mail and $3 per thousand for First-Class mail.

• BMC/SCF drop entry mail planning
J&Q will analyze your mail file and create a BMC/SCF mail plan to maximize postal discounts and savings. J&Q also provides an on-line tool for clients to verify and confirm that their mail has been received at national entry points.

• Co-palletization
Authorized by the USPS to offer co-palletization services, J&Q can combine trays from multiple mailings together on the same skid, pieces qualifying for BMC or SCC postal discounts. Each mailing is presorted and produced independently but may be merged onto one pallet, maximizing collective postal discounts.

• Commingling
For mailings that have multiple lettershop versions or small quantities, J&Q offers a method of maximizing postal rates for First and standard Class mail. By combining components with other mailings, you gain a lower, fixed rate than would be achieved by mailing separately.

• Real-time Tracking/Reporting
Using our web-based solution you can find out where your mailings are, how many have reached their destination, and how quickly they got there—and view it all online, in real time. Johnson & Quin uses the USPS CONFIRM tracking system to help ensure that your packages arrive at their destination.

• PostalOne!®
Streamline your business mail—from entry, to postage payments, to tracking and reporting. PostalOne!® is an information management system that establishes a link between a mailer’s permit and the United States Postal Service (USPS). This is an electronic alternative to using the existing manual mailing processes that makes it possible to manage every point of the mailing process, ensuring your direct mail campaigns are both time-efficient and cost effective.
